BDNA – Dragons – Our Coaches

BDNA Rep Coaches have a minimum Development Accreditation through the Netball Australia coach accreditation framework. Coaches are encouraged and supported to progress further along the pathway to ensure player development is realised.

Our Coaches are required to have a strong focus on our players emotional well being – we work hard to ensure players are well nurtured, informed and supported on their journey.

Head Coach – Jo Hockley

Jo has had a long and successful netball career – She has worked, played and coached at the highest level for many years. We are pleased and delighted to have her on board at BDNA.

“I am passionate for grassroots netball to continue growing and ensuring that every player has a pathway opportunity. I am a country girl who worked hard to achieve great results. I gave up a social life and had to travel from our farm to the country town of Pt. Lincoln to train and play (12 km) and travel to Adelaide (650km) twice weekly to train for SA State teams and the Australian team. I am eternally grateful and thankful to family and community to help me get there (sometimes as a passenger in a truck transporting sheep).
