WALKING NETBALL - THURSDAY NIGHT COMPETITION
Welcome to BDNA Thursday night ROCK UP WALKING NETBALL ( indoors only ).
A new fun, social game – on Thursday nights at Holloway .
Rock up competition will continue until the end of year. -A $25 annual insurance payment applies to register then “pay as you play” , $5 a game – turn up on your own or with a friend and grab a bib.

Please note Rock Up Game time time has been moved back to 6.30 pm
Games will be played on Thursday nights at 6.30 pm
All players must also be insured with Netball Victoria. ($25 per annum)
Details of the comp

- Registrations from 6.00pm
- Bayside Netball Centre – Holloway Road Sandringham
- Commences Thursday 16th July
- No games on school holidays
- All players must be registered with Netball Vic for insurance purposes – one off annual cost of $25 per player in addition to $5 per week
- Scoring court side on iPad
- First Aid / Game Day Coordinator on site
- Umpire Supervisors on hand
The definition of walking netball from Netball Victoria a modified version of the traditional game that is fully inclusive allowing anyone to participate regardless of their age, fitness level, ability or previous netball experience.
Walking netball is by definition a mixed comp and players from the age of 11 upwards are permitted to play. We are delighted to provide an opportunity for multi generation team sport at Bayside & District.
Codes of Conduct
Netball Victoria has put together a series of Codes of Conduct that are expected of every person involved in the netball community, as well as identifying the types of behaviours that will not be tolerated. All participants at Bayside district netball should be aware and abide by these codes of conduct.
